Bowling proprietors who agree that the bowling industry is hurting need to read this! In 2003 the WSOP had 839 entrants and Chris Moneymaker revolutionized tournament poker. Chris Moneymaker, a huge underdog, won the $2,500,000 top prize. He entered the $10k buy-in with an investment of only $69.00 because he was a winner of a satellite tournament and the rest is history!
The Proprietors Cup is offering centers a chance to get in the action! “A satellite bowler pays $60 and has a chance to win their $1,100 entry” said Billy Eysoldt, “It’s easy to do, proprietors advertise a tournament with a $60 entry fee, and for every 20 bowlers they collect $1,200 ($1100 entry, $100 lineage) and for running the tournament, the proprietor will have a 20% stake in his winning satellite bowler”. Another option for the proprietor is to ‘sponsor’ a bowler/bowlers and have a 50% stake or more. “It’s a great tax write off and you could change your bowler’s life forever.” Said Billy, ‘The higher the total entries, the more media attention we will receive for the sport of bowling” he added.
The Proprietors Cup is looking for centers willing to run satellites and/or sponsor bowlers. If you are a proprietor/manager/pro shop operator/tournament director and want to get involved, please contact Billy Eysoldt at strikeitrichcorp@aol.com.
